Situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Christ College is an independent co-educational boarding and day school. Founded by Henry VIII in 1541, the college is one of the oldest schools in Wales and educates around 370 pupils annually between the ages of seven and 18.
The institution consistently achieves excellent results at A level and GCSE. Over the past three years, 47% of A level grades were A* or A and 91% grade A to C. Over the same period, 46% of GCSE results were grades 9 to 7.
Its second curriculum complements academic study and contributes to pupils’ skills development, and includes music and performing arts and a wide ranging sport and outdoor pursuit provision.
