Summary

Rotman Arts and Science School is an accredited K-12 private school that operates in Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2004, we have been delivering international education to students for 18 years. Our school provides education programs from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. We also specialize in combining academic programs with professional arts training. We are a local Canadian school, providing education programs for Canadian students. In 2022, we started welcoming our first international students from over 30 countries.

We provide an individually-focused learning experience for students from all around the world. By preparing them with subject-specific knowledge, academic English language skills, and artistic skills, Rotman School helps students to become successful, creative, and resilient.

Having small class sizes, we strive to give our students the best learning experience, including receiving special care and individual instructions from our teachers. They will also benefit from having access to our modern facilities and joining many after-school activities that help them achieve their fullest potential.

Courses

Rotman Arts and Science School provides academic programs for Senior School (Grade 9 – 12), Middle School (Grade 7-8) and Junior School (Junior Kindergarten – Grade 6).

Academic courses consist of various subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Physical Education, and many more. Students are also free to choose their favourite art courses to learn on campus such as Ballet, Dance, Music, Vocal, and Visual Arts.

Students completing the high school program will graduate with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) which gives them the opportunity to pursue higher education at any institutions in Canada, the USA, Europe, or any other international school in the world. According to Ontario Secondary School Diploma Requirements, students must complete the following prerequisites to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD):

• 30 credits, including 18 mandatory credits and 12 optional credits;
• 40 hours of community involvement;
• Successful completion of the EQAO Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) or the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OLC).

After-school Activities

Our school allows children to choose which activities they love most that keep them excited to learn. Children have time every day to explore their interests in Arts, Athletics, Puzzles, Games, Science, and other outdoor activities. These activities contribute to creating a comfortable atmosphere after class and also play an important role in child development. Children engage in a process of self-discovery and self – esteem development by exploring their potential. After school programs help our students develop skills that create a solid foundation for their learning and growth.

Summer Camps

Rotman School’s Summer Camp is designed to provide international students with practical and creative learning experiences and unforgettable field trips for all children from 12 to 17 years old. They will have a chance to come to Canada and experience its diverse culture and outstanding natural environment.

Our Summer Camp is a 2-week program and will be organized annually. Students joining the summer camp will participate in English, Math, Arts, Classical Ballet, and Dance classes; meet and make friends with other international and local students; learn Canadian culture from our friendly tour guides.

We also provide a unique opportunity for our children to many fantastic places around the city. They will visit high school buildings and leading Canadian university campuses such as York University, University of Toronto, and Ryerson University. Our tour guides will also introduce them to popular landmarks and tourist attractions in Toronto and nearby areas such as: Ripley’s Aquarium, local farms, Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, Art Gallery of Toronto, CN Tower, Ontario Science Center, and Toronto Centre Island.

After completing the Summer Camp of Rotman Arts & Science School, students will receive:

ESL Program

Canada is home to thousands of students from countries all around the world. Many of them come to Canada to learn English. Our educational system accommodates students who have limited English proficiency. The educational program for foreign students whose first language is not English is designed to immerse students in a stress-free English environment. Rotman Arts and Science School of Canada offers an intensive English study course for those who are interest.
